Young Art Contest
Art Competition:
Since 2016, ARMEG has initiated a nationwide art competition for children. This contest is for kids, children, college students and young adults. The submission to the contest can be in the form of drawings, paintings, cartoons, doodles, sketches, posters, digital art. The aimed of this Art contest to encourage child art, child artists, student artists, young artists, youth art, art students
Themes:
Entries are invited to illustrate “Harmony and Peace”, with positive content, complete composition, childlike, and imaginative.
Conditions of Participation:
The participants in the competition are divided into 3 groups according to their age:
4 to 7 years,
8 to 11 years and
12 to 16 years.
Medium:
Participants can use watercolor, crayons, printmaking, oil pastels, colored pens, or any combination of these on paper. Sketches, collages, and 3D artwork are not accepted.
Judgment:
An independent, qualified panel of artists will judge all the entries based on the following criteria:
* Creativity and use of materials
* Creative use of the theme
* Originality
Requirements：
Works must be created on any of the themes of Harmony and Peace.
Not more than three entries per person
No joint entries will be accepted.
Entries are limited to paintings, and there is no restriction on the type, material or form of painting, including oil pastel, oil painting, printmaking, cartoons, sketching, colored pencils, crayons, paper cutting.
Teachers and parents are allowed to guide the entries, but they must be created by children independently.
The size of a single entry must be no smaller than (12inch X 17inch).
